Sister cities of Zaporizhia

Zaporizhia (Ukrainian: Запорі́жжя [zɑpoˈriʒʒjɑ], transcript. Zaporizhzhia or Zaporizhzhya), or Zaporozhye (Russian: Запоро́жье [zəpɐˈroʐə], transcript. Zaporozh'ye, formerly Alexandrovsk (Russian: Алекса́ндровск [ɐlʲɪˈksandrəfsk])) is a city in southeastern Ukraine, situated on the banks of the Dnieper River. It is the administrative center of the Zaporizhia Oblast (province). Currently the city is the sixth largest in Ukraine and has population of 770,411 people (as of 2013).
