Sister cities of Peristeri

Peristeri (Greek: Περιστέρι, standing for "pigeon/dove" in Greek) is a suburban municipality in Athens, Greece, located about 5 kilometres (3 miles) north west of the centre of Athens. The municipality is bordered by the Cephissus/Cephissos River, Athinon Avenue (GR-8), Chaidari in the west and Petroupoli in the northwest, with a size of around 10 square kilometres (4 sq mi). The area includes the northern half of the Athens Industrial Area, with its main streets taking in Ethnikis Antistaseos Street and P. Tsaldari Street.
