Sister cities of Cabo Frio
Cabo Frio (Cold Cape) is a Brazilian municipality in Rio de Janeiro state, founded by the Portuguese on November 13, 1615. Associação Desportiva Cabofriense, founded in 1997 is a well known football (soccer) club of the city. The club plays at Correão stadium. Another football club, called Esprof Atlético Futebol Clube, founded in 1995, is also from the city.
As of (2005), its population is 159,685 (2005) and its area is 401 km².
The Buzios municipality is only 15 km away, with very exclusive and sophisticated nightlife.
