Auerbach in der Oberpfalz (German pronunciation: [ˈaʊɐbax ɪn dɐ ˈoːbɐpfalts]) is a town in the Amberg-Sulzbach district, Bavaria, Germany. It is located 45 km NE of Nuremberg. In Michelfeld there was a Benedictine monastery which is now a nursing home.
